Bamboo & Palms

Plants can be sent to all states except Western Australia & Tasmania .
All plants are sent in pots or barerooted and placed in a plastic bag with a compost mix or fibre. When receiving plants remove from bag, plant in pots or ground, in a sheltered position. Water well, gradually move to a sunny position. All plants have information supplied for growing and usage.

Plants are posted Mondays & Tuesdays only and will take normal posting time, for delivery. Prices stated DO NOT include postage.

BAMBOO - Buddha's Belly  (Bambusa ventricosa)    OGA
Clumping variety to 15 metres. Swollen stem (belly) at leaf joints. Suitable as an indoor plant, also makes a great wind break or privacy screen. Cold hardy. Available all year.

BAMBOO - Fern Leaf  (Bambusa multiplex)    OGA
Attractive variety to 3 metres high, forms a dense clump, non-invasive. Hardy and tolerant of frost. Ornamental plant with slight weeping habit, useful canes of 1-5cm diameter.  Available all year.

Larger grower than Fern Leaf, height to 5 metres, canes thicker and larger. Frost hardy, upright habit, clump forming, useful canes. Available all year.

Tall erect clumping variety to 12 metres. Straight strong thin walled bamboo. Excellent specimen or wind break plant. Cold tolerant, can turn gold in the sun. Ideal for weaving and handicraft.
