Daikon Radish is a very fast growing root vegetable, maturing in 30-50 days. Daikon Radish is easily grown in any good garden soil with at least half a days sun. Japanese variety producing long white tubular roots with medium flavour. Best grown in winter but it will grow all year. Use fresh and in stir-frys. Breaks up soil making it a good cover crop, produces bulk organic matter.

Suitable in pasture for better diversity.

Sow all year except hot weather.
